Objective

I seek to work for an innovative and fun company that will allow me to continue developing my technical skills in the Computer Science field. I am a self-motivated and dedicated worker. I have a strong willingness to learn, and have been self-taught in many areas, both professional and personal. I am currently working on finishing my degree in computer programming and would like to work in a position that is programming-oriented.

Work experience

AppleCare Representative - ACR III (11/2003 - Present)

• Promoted to Supporting Apple's Education Customer's.
• Increased responsibility and authority for maintaining Customer Satisfaction.
• Products Supported: Mac OS 8 through OS X, Consumer Level Software (iLife, iWork, AppleWorks, etc.), all Apple Desktop and Portable computers.
• Served as Sales Champion for my team (11/2003 - 4/2005).
• Assisted in several back-end projects cleaning up improperly created Service Requests and preventing them from re-occuring.

• Front-Line Technical Support providing Troubleshooting, Issue resolution, and Customer Service to Apple's End Users.
• Products Supported: Mac OS 9, Mac OS X, Consumer Level Software (iLife, AppleWorks, etc.), PowerBook G3s, PowerBook G4s.
• Received a "WOW" award for exceptional performance and thoroughness in troubleshooting and tracking.

HTML Developer

• 3 month contract position with Pervasive Software.
• HTML and ASP coding to assist with the internationalization of the company website, http://www.pervasive.com
• Maintenance of web pages including: adding new content, making grammatical corrections, and verifying site and content integrity.
• ASP coding and tweaking to the infrastructure that handles the multi-language functionality of the site.
• Wrote an ASP feedback system to gather data from end users on the site - part bug-tracker, part drop-box.

Web Developer

• Web Developer for leisure travel websites. Involved in new development, maintenance, and testing. Main Sites: http://www.navigantvacations.com and http://www.cruisecenter.com.
• Responsible for making major HTML updates across the sites and implementing design changes to the sites.
• Developer responsible for coding the weekly customer newsletter.
• Worked with integrating ASP technologies in a Vignette Environment.
• Wrote a Visual Basic 6.0 Application to parse text files and insert the content into a database to update and provide new data for our dynamically driven sites.

ASP Developer

• Involved assisting in the port of a static website to a dynamic ASP-Driven website.
• Wrote ASP pages as templates for displaying content that would display exactly how the static site displayed.
